DIGITAL-2026-BESTUSE-TECH-EDMO-09-HUBS: European Digital Media Observatory Hubs

Finances independent EDMO national and regional hubs to monitor and analyse the online information ecosystem. Hubs are expected to detect and fact-check disinformation campaigns, conduct research on coordinated inauthentic behaviour, develop media literacy initiatives, and participate in the EDMO Rapid Response System during elections and crises. Activities must contribute to the European Democracy Shield and align with obligations under the Digital Services Act Code of Conduct on Disinformation. Maximum €750,000 per hub, with an indicative total budget of €6 million across multiple hubs.
